...perhaps i would have checked online results periodically.
I would go match by match offering individual reviews but lets face it, i for one have invested enough time in wwe's latest ppv by watching the damn thing.
The online countdown that was eluded to this time yesterday by my partner sean, regarding the saveus222 promos, and leading to cyber sunday was an apparent hoax; or, an elaborate countdown to 10:30pm, depending on how you choose to look at it. I hopefully, yet naively bought right into the countdown hook line and sinker, i will admit that. But my god the Jericho speculation that began months ago and has since associated itself with the saveus/savior promos are killing me and i know im not alone in this. Like, DoIt! Push the button!! For christ sake i've waited for months patiently with my "go Jericho go" sneakers on the metaphoric shoe rack just waiting to slip em on and walk around.
Alright, I've made my point, back to the review: NoJericho, thumbs down. Sorry, i know its harsh but it's my blog and i'll say what i want. Besides if wwe and it's 'Superstars' had given me a REAL show to watch (like something special, i don't know) my mind would have wandered naturally in aww and amazement. Nowadays thats virtually impossible.
Regarding the votable aspects of the show, the results of every poll were all totally predictable and made all of wwes bookings leading into the ppv come full circle way too conviently. This leads me to believe that either (a)wwe is too good at brainwashing the little kids and all other novice wrestling fans who make up most of the voting polls with their repeat votes on these types of shows, or (b) the obvious, the polls really are not a factor; wwe does it's own thing like usual while claiming otherwise. That's right, I trust vince and co. not at all to honor what they promote.
Furthermore, if i could say one thing to the superstars that performed at last nights cyber sunday, purely from a spectator standpoint, it would be the following: There is no one wrestler, or style of wrestling, or combination of size and style that works NEARLY as well as it could if every competitor in ANY given match is not trying their absolute HARDEST to make it so. For ppv, let alone television let alone merely an arena full of screaming fans, if you(wrestler) are not willing to try your very hardest to entertain with a great match, it might not hurt to rethink the career path which you have currently chosen.

SAVE_US
The video has been airing weekly on RAW, Smackdown... and I'd assume on ECW but I really haven't watched an episode in its entirety as of this moment.
Is it Y2J's second coming? That's the word on Wikipedia...
Check it out yourself.... go to www.savior_self.com/8211
You will be prompted to enter a user name and a password for save_us.22...
The user name must be in capital letters and is as follows...SAVOUR_SELF
and the password must be in capital letters and is as follows.... SUNDAYCOMING
Another prompt to enter a user name and password will appear for save_us.29.
Enter the same user name and password in capital letters.
You will be taken to a countdown that will end around 10:30 Sunday night... during the WWE CyberSunday pay-per-view telecast.
Hopefully Chris Jericho will save us. I don't know though.
Also, Booker T will in all likelihood be Sting's "MYSTERY" tag partner for TNA Genesis. Wow.

Wusssssuuuuuuup
I love Monday nights. I always will. I love to sit back after 12 hours of work and drink a coca-cola and watch Raw. I know, nowadays it usually sucks. But I still love it. Why? Because it might be good. You never know! Any Monday could be good. Usually, yeah it's not that good. But the talent is there... the creativity is there... and about once every two months the stars align and I see a Raw program that makes me go, "Pfft... no wonder I'm still watching pro-wrestling at 28 years of age."
I guess one day I'll have to stop watching it. I do notice that WWE is marketing itself more and more towards children. That's fine. TNA is marketing itself more towards me. I'm not knocking WWE. They're a business and trying to make money and kids are going to spend their parent's money on John Cena action figures. I'm not. No matter how good Raw is on any given Monday, I'm not dropping one red cent on a John Cena action figure. I'll drop fifty bucks on Wrestlemania, but not ten bucks on an action figure.
My point is I love watching wrestling. OK, to be honest, I'm just posting for the sake of posting.

TNA rules not just by default(sorry Seannie)
The Kidd here, and I think Sean will agree with me when i say that TNA has been putting on some prettyentertaining programming this past month or so. Definately better than Wwe in my opinion, as i am sure any true wrestling fan who watched BOTH summerslam and no surrender will agree. Tna wrestlers are for the most part more talented in ring than wwe superstars not to mention they seem to work substantially harder than vinnies talent. People like aj styles, alex shelley, petey williams, chris daniels are exclusive to tna especially because they have not been seen anywhere else, and yet are still so polished wrestling and in character.
Nobody is more excited than me about the fast approaching era of the 2 hour impact. I do however, think that they had well enough of the right kind of talent already before their recent business interactions with test, albert, rakishi and blackdust. On the other hand nobodies perfect but Karen angle screeching into a mic is a lesser evil than vince and coach reacting to hornswoggle and trying to make it funny. So to recap, Tna guarantees you at least one above average match by talented athletes who care everytime you tune in. No surrender was impressive from start to finish, and i'm all about bound for glory. If you only invest $40 in ppv wrestling in october, give it to tna and thank me later. As for wwe, ill keep the dvr on ff till i see kennedy:)

Vince... Vince... Please.... Give me something...
The Sandman has been fired from World Wrestling Entertainment. I don't care all that much. I was never a big Sandman fan and - although he seemed to be finding his place on the RAW brand - I don't think he was ever going to be more than a wrestler with a cool live entrance. He was destined to be disqualified every Monday night for using his cane to bash some B rate wrestler over the head.
So, no big deal... right? The thing is the WWE is an entity that seems to have no direction. Wrestlers have become pawns in a sense. They are all replaceable. If John Cena fails a wellness test, we'd have a new WWE champion within the hour and within a month, there would be no mention of him ever again. The WWE no longer commits to building a wrestler. The WWE no longer commits to building a fan base. The product is becoming a shell of itself. Sandmans are all over the place. The rosters are full of guys that can float in and out of television. They have a respectable resume and a somewhat built-in fan base. There are no more superstars. Even guys like The Undertaker and Triple H are replaceable.
Vince McMahon has wanted this all along. He has the biggest promotion in the world and the attraction is the promotion itself. It's like going to see Lollapalooza to see Lollapalooza... not any band in particular. It's like going to see your favorite baseball team, but having no favorite player. It's like going to see a movie because it's a movie. These analogies are lame, I know, but the WWE is the biggest thing happening in the WWE. Vince knows it. He knows that whatever he puts on television, the ratings will be there because his product is the only thing a wrestling fan has to watch... and as long as people like pro-wrestling, there will be an audience for his product.
TNA? No thanks... Pac-Man Jones? Andrew Marting? Yeah, I'll stick with whatever McMahon is going to shovel down my throat. There was a moment about two months ago that I thought Jeff Jarrett would be able to give Vince a run, but that time has passed. Adam "Pac-Man" Jones is a TNA World Tag-Team Champion without having ever performed a wrestling move in front of a live audience. It's a disgraceful, disgusting act by Jeff Jarrett and the TNA bookers that slaps every wrestler that has worked his or her entire life to get on television right across the face... And for what? For a fifteen second bit on Sportscenter. It's a stupid move that is going to backfire in Jarrett's face. So, for me, I'm alright with skipping TNA Impact. I generally always tune out when a promotion brings in "real" athletes to work matches. Lawrence Taylor? Dennis Rodman? Karl Malone? Jesus... how about Paul Konerko and David Eckstein? No, sir, I'm done with that crap.
So, Vince... please... I know you can do it. Just give me something... anything... give me a reason to be excited about wrestling... pretty please with sugar on top. I'm getting sick of watching 12 Sandmans getting disqualified every week... as much as I like his entrance.

The Kidd's no Surrender Previections
10-Team Gauntlet Match with the winners getting a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championship at octobers Bound For Glory ppv:
The Voodoo Kin Mafia
The Latin American Xchange
Team 3D
The Motor City Machineguns
Triple X
AJ Styles & Tomko
“The Guru” Sonjay Dutt & Petey Williams
Raven & Havok
Eric Young & Shark Boy
Lance Hoyt & the debut of Jimmy Rave
This ones got a lot going on to really predict but I'll say AJ and Tomko just for the sake of the Bound for Glory match.
Kazarian vs. Robert Roode w/ Ms. Brooks
I'll say Kaz b/c it looks like Mrs. Brooks will cost RR the W and eventually leave him, and i'm thinking TNA decision makers know that it's a little soon to do what they did w/ Kurt, Karen and Samoa Joe
“The War Machine” Rhino vs. “Cowboy” James Storm
I can't say who wins but think Jake 'the snake'/Jerry lawler circa 97
“The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe vs. “The Instant Classic” Christian Cage
This ones close. Samoa Joes almost undefeated and Mike Tenay says christians never been pinned or submitted one on one in TNA. I think Samoa Joe could use the win not to mention christian seems to be satisfied knowing that he's big enough to be putting joe over by doing so...if that makes sense.
TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Kurt Angle vs. “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal
Lemme just come right out with it... Angle cleans house. This match is self explanitory it will most likely happen first of the three.
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Kurt Angle & Sting vs. Ron “The Truth” Killings and Adam “Pacman” Jones
Is this guy cleared to wrestle? Lets hope to see way more of the truth during this contest. I mean, unless their planning on really taking team pacman that far, i can't possibly imagine an upset of this capacity. If by chance it does happen, definately watch the name of this blog come to life!!
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Kurt Angle vs. Abyss
I can't be the only person who realizes that we will definately see Judas, the sinister ministers son make an appereance to lay out Abyss and help a weak and weary Angle retain his third, final and most important title of the night. Angles Shawn Michaels, Abyss is the Undertaker, The minister is Paul Bearer, and ofcourse Judas is that monster Kane. u know what i mean. Go ahead TNA surprise me, i dare you!!

Go Away Congress
For the love of God Congress, go and focus all of your attention on a failing, multi-trillion dollar war... or a crumbling environment... or something that is more important to American society than professional wrestling.
I know... steroids are bad... painkillers are bad... I got it. I think that people that use steroids and painkillers and smoke marijuana are well aware that it is bad for them. What's more... I think that the families of people abusing these drugs know that it is bad. Also, I think that if family members can't tell that there is drug abuse going on, then that family isn't as close as they should be.
With all that in mind, Vince McMahon doesn't need to sit through Congressional hearings to be lectured on how to run his promotion by a bunch of old, crusty white men that themselves have alcohol and cocaine problems and fetishes for young boys. McMahon cleans up his own mess like any other corporation in America. No, the truth is that Congress wants McMahon's head. They didn't get him last time and they're going to try to make up for it this time.
Why? Because they were all fans of the wrestling promotions that McMahon gobbled up during the 80's. Well, maybe not. I don't know why and I'm not even going to guess. I don't care. It's a witch hunt and McMahon is the guy they want to take down... But they won't get him... cuz he's fucking innocent.
Anyway, the real reason I'm pissed is because all of the waning top WWE talent has been suspended having been linked to the "Pharmacy." Meaning... Raw tonight... will I see Orton? Will I see Kennedy? Jesus, I think that John Cena is going to be the WWE Champion for the rest of my life... or his life... Wait! I just had an idea.
